This is a distance pulley rig suitable for most fishig, especially over rough ground. Simple in design, yet extremely effective - a good no nonsense rig!
Sinker not included.
To Make this Rig
For the rig body, you will need;
2 x Link Clips
1 x Breakaway Impact Shield
1 x 4mm Power Beads
2 x Mini-Crimps
1 x 3mm Beads
1 x 3mm Power Beads
1 x 80lb Main Line Swivel
1 x approx. 1130mm length 60lb main line (for 830mm body)
You will also need:
1 x 500mm snood
The Rig Body
1. Tie on a Link Clip and thread on the rest of the components in this order.

2. Tie on the 80lb swivel, ensuring the line is 830mm in length.
3. Hang the rig from a peg by the free running Link Clip and attach a sinker to the lower Link Clip.
4. Position the Breakaway Impact Shield just above the lower knot and secure the first crimp immediately above the 4mm release bead.
5. Clip the snood onto the 80lb main line swivel and locate the hook in the Breakaway Impact Shield.
6.Secure the remianing crimp approx. 20mm from the main line swivel. |
