A distance rig suitable for most fishing and particularly good for cod. Incorporating a SRT Spring, to reduce the stretch in the snood and keeping it under optimum tension in the Bait Clip, for a reliable release.
Optional silicone stand off's included. Sinker not included.

To Make this Rig
For the rig body, you will need;
1 x Link Clip
2 x 3mm Bead
1 x SRT Spring
1 x 45lb Snood Swivel
1 x Mini-Crimp
1 x Link Clip
1 x ABC Clip (with slider)
1 x approx. 1130mm length 60lb main line (for 830mm body)
You will also need;
1 x 700mm snood
The Rig Body
1. Tie on the ABC Link Clip and thread on the rest of the components in this order;

2. Tie on the top Link Clip,ensuring the rig is approx. 830mm in length
3. Hang the rig from a peg and attach a sinker and locate the ABC clip in the slider
4. Clip the snood onto the swivel
5. Hold the sinker down firmly and, with a pair of pliers, push the crimp that is under the spring assembly up the main line until the spring assembly is 2/3 compressed and secure it. |
