A distance pulley rig with the addition of a secondary snood. A good all round rig presenting two baits.

To Make this Rig
For the rig body, you will need;
2 x Link Clips
1 x Breakaway Impact Shield
3 x 4mm Power Beads
4 x Mini-Crimps
2 x 3mm Beads
1 x SRT Spring
1 x 45lb Snood Swivel
1 x approx. 880mm length 60lb main line
You will also need:
1 x 500mm snood
1 x 350mm snood
The Rig Body
1. Tie on the bottom Link Clip and thread on the rest of the components in this order.

2. Tie on the top main line swivel, ensuring the line is approx. 830mm in length.
3. Hang the rig from a peg by the free running Link Clip and attach a sinker to the Link Clip.
4. Position the Breakaway Impact Shield just above the lower knot and secure the first crimp approx. 10mm above.
5. Clip the main snood onto the 80lb mainline swivel and locate the hook in the Breakaway Impact Shield.
6. Clip the secondary snood onto the 45lb snood swivel.
7. Hold the sinker down firmly and, with a pair of pliers, push the crimp that is under the spring assembly up the main line until the spring is 2/3 compressed and secure it.
8. Allowing the upper 3mm bead and crimp to rest on the swivel, secure the criimp.
9. Secure the remaining crimp approx. 20mm from the main line swivel. |
