About this deal

The illustrations are very brightly coloured and the fun shines out of the pages making it seem like a bathroom party that you'd all want to be involved in! New readers won't know and they will just read a really fun book that will have the family bopping all the way to bedtime. I was babysitting my 5 yr old grand-daughter and she wanted to read Kitchen Disco, which she already had. UPDATE: I've changed my rather harsh initial rating of 2 stars to 4 simply because my daughter loves the book so much.

Murphy packs each page with drawings so that a child can hunt for everything and one or two elements are designed to make the adult chuckle. Kitchen Disco was selected for BookTrust's 'Time to Read' campaign and there are currently 760,000 copies in print. It's a very lighthearted and silly story, I thought it was going to be a little more on the educational side. When the children go to school and the adults go to work, the Bathroom Boogie starts up - and all your favourite bathroom friends come alive! The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. Al Murphy is a versatile illustrator whose work has appeared in newspapers, advertising and apps, and now children's books. Bathroom Boogie is the zany and hilarious rhyming picture book sequel to Kitchen Disco, with exciting illustrations by Al Murphy. Without even taking into account the fact that a lot of the bathroom products look high as kites, there is no way a young child would understand what's going on. The combination of Foges and Murphy worked wonders in ‘‘Kitchen Disco’’ and ‘‘Bathroom Boogie’’ follows the same format.Kitchen Disco is a zany and hilarious rhyming picture book for young children, featuring a stunning holographic foil spread in the middle of the book.

The shower creates a rain dance, whilst the mouthwash back-flips and the toothbrushes bop and rave to the hot tap’s funky beat! The children love the bright colours and seeing each item coming to life, they found it amusing to see this and would keep flicking through the book after it being read to see it again.com/ and I would suggest watching it with your little one so that you can sing-a-long the chorus of the book. Bathroom Boogie is the story of what happens in the bathroom when children are at school and adults are at work. However, the book is a little too similar to ‘‘Kitchen Disco’’, it follows the same format and even the song sounds similar – same tune, different lyrics. It's great to see each of the bathroom items each getting their own page and the way each item uses the uses of it to its strength in the story is lots of fun like the toothbrush squeezing into it's dance.A little boy and his sister are surprised to say the least when their babysitter turns out to be a huge, bearded pirate - and he's invited all his friends round for stew!
